Turnaround Time: 2-3 Days on 100#
Glossy Text Paper.
7-10 Days on 80#
Glossy Text Paper.
Turnaround Time Policies:
Turnaround time for a print job where a PDF or hard copy proof
is selected begins once the proof has been approved by you.
If you did not select a PDF or a hard copy proof, turnaround
time begins once your file is uploaded.
If your job is approved by 1 P.M. Eastern Standard Time,
turnaround time begins that business day.
Allow additional business days for delivery based on the
shipping method you selected. Business days are Monday through
Friday. Holidays, Saturdays and Sundays do not count when
calculating turnaround. Our turnaround times are an estimate,
and are not to be confused with a guarantee. We assume no
responsibility for delays caused by delivery carriers or any
damages resulting from the failure to receive a job on time.
Your order may arrive late due to unforeseen delays in delivery
service, the breakdown of equipment, illness, etc.
For example on 2-3 Day Turnaround, If you approve your proof before
1:00 p.m. (EST) on
Monday, then your job will be ready for pick-up or shipping at 1:00
p.m. (EST) on Wednesday or Thursday.
Note: Turnaround time begins from the time of proof approval.

Refund Policy: All sales are final. No refunds
are available on orders unless work has not been started and the

on an order that work has not started, a $10 processing fee will be
charged.
You are 100% responsible for your digital file:
If your file is not submitted properly Advance Designs cannot be
held responsible. Actual final cut size may slightly vary due to
bleeds and cut set-up. The Advance Designs logo and telephone number
must go on all orders we design (excluding business cards).
Carefully review and double-check the design(s). Client is
responsible for correct spelling, correct names (producers, Dj?s,
events name, etc.), correct phone numbers, correct dates, correct
addresses, correct e-mail addresses and all other important facts
pertaining to the design. Make sure that all maps are accurate, and
street names are correct. The client must pay for any changes or
allegations to the designs that were not described in the original
order placed, before approving for printing. Changes or alterations
to the designs could significantly affect the time of production and
delivery date.
Color Accuracy: Advance Designs will reproduce
color from submitted images, transparencies, slides, photos, or
digital layouts as closely as possible, but cannot exactly match
color and density (as viewed in a 5000K light booth) because of
limitations in the printing process, as well as neighboring image
ink requirements. The accuracy of each color reproduction is
guaranteed to be within 85-90% of the original image you submitted.
We accept no responsibility for color variations between submitted
images and the actual artwork or product they represent.
Blue: Using CMYK definitions, you will have a
better idea of how the colors will appear in your printed piece.
Here is a common example: many programs translate the 100% Blue in
RGB into a somewhat purple-looking color in CMYK. We recommend a
CMYK value of 100-65-0-0 to get a nice clean blue. Working in the
CMYK color space allows you to select the CMYK recipe, or "screen
build", that gives you the results you want.
Black: When creating blacks in CMYK, many
designers make the mistake of setting the black on the CMYK scale to
100% and turning all the other color values down to 0%. This is not,
however, the best way to create a "rich" black, and it will cause
blacks to print in duller, less-vivid tones. To obtain a "rich"
black color, we suggest that you set the CMYK value to: 75% Cyan,
40% Magenta, 40% Yellow, and 100% Black.
Red: CMYK also has difficulty with dark reds.
When dark reds are converted and printed, they have a tendency to
print as dark browns. Like blues and purples, dark reds and dark
browns have similar color percentages. Creating a dark red in CMYK
requires 100% magenta/100% yellow/60% black. Creating a dark brown
requires 70% magenta/100% yellow/80% black. To keep your dark reds
from printing as dark browns, we recommend that you reduce the
amount of Black in them.
COLOR QUESTIONS:
Can the color be guaranteed?
It is recommended that a color match proof is ordered or that our
color safe key is utilized which will allow you to have a reasonable
expectation of color output. Although it is impossible to
definitively match a given color, these colors are considered safe
and less susceptible to large shifts in appearance.
Question:
If I'm reordering can the color be the same as the last time?
Answer:
It is not possible that the colors can be matched perfectly
from job to job. If you use our safe color key the color
will be much more predictable to the color you intend.
Question:
Will the same colors vary in output when printed on
different paper stocks?
Answer:
It is possible that the same colors may vary as light hits the
different coatings and materials our eyes are presented with
variations of the color.
Question:
Why does the final print job look different from how it looked
on my monitor?
Answer:
When viewing artwork on a monitor you are viewing in RGB which
is Red / Green / Blue gamut. Printing is done in CMYK - Cyan /
Magenta / Yellow / Black. Please prepare your files in CMYK mode
in your photo editor to get a better understanding of setting up
your colors.
Indemnification: The customer will indemnify and
hold harmless the printer, Advance Designs, from any and all loss,
cost expense, and damages on any and all manner of claims, demands,
actions and proceedings that may be instituted against the printer
on the grounds alleging that said printing violates any copyright or
any proprietary right of any person.
Turnaround: The turnaround time is 4 to 15
business days. Anything less than 4 days consider a rush job,
additional fees will be charge. Jobs submitted by 10:00 AM PST
(Pacific Standard Time) that meet our digital file guidelines and
include full payment will be printed by the next business day.
Business days are Monday to Friday and do not include weekends or
holidays. Orders submitted on Saturday, Sunday or holidays will
begin on the next business day. Advance Designs is not responsible
for delays caused by delivery carriers or any damages resulting from
the failure to receive a job on time. Orders may not be ready on
time due to unforeseen circumstances such as breakdown of equipment,
power outages etc. therefore turnaround times are not guaranteed.

a courtesy to our customers, Advance Designs allows replacement of
